German Priest Steps Down to Marry His Longtime Secret Partner: German priest Andreas Unfried, 63, is stepping down after revealing he has been secretly in a relationship with a woman for many years. He has served as a priest for 37 years near Frankfurt. In an open letter, he announced plans to marry his longtime partner. The Diocese of Limburg, led by Bishop Georg Bätzing, said it respects his decision and thanked the priest for decades of "service". Unfried, in turn, thanked Bishop Bätzing for treating him with "respect".

Auxiliary Bishop Rob Mutsaerts of ’s-Hertogenbosch spoke with AdVaticanum.com on August 22 about the Synod and the decline of Catholicism in the Netherlands. Main quotes. - “Walking together” is valuable only if the Church knows where she is walking. The destination is not increased participation but Christ. - Consultation, participation, pastoral structures and synodal methods all have their place. Once the means start occupying more attention than the end, something has become inverted. - The Church possesses something unusual among institutions: she has received a Revelation which she did not invent and cannot rewrite. - The missing words in the Synod are repentance and conversion. - The synodal process did not create the Western European crisis. But after several years, there is little evidence that it has found an effective remedy for it. The medicine resembles the disease! - Nobody needs Christianity in order to learn that meetings should be inclusive. - Dutch statistics report …കൂടുതൽ

Church authorities are examining a possible Eucharistic miracle after a Host placed in water reportedly failed to dissolve and subsequently developed reddish stains that “could be blood”, the Cathedral Parish of El Niño Dios in Cuilapa, Guatemala, has announced on August 22. The parish is the cathedral of the Diocese of Santa Rosa de Lima. The incident began on July 30, during a Missionary Eucharistic Week. A priest was celebrating the Eucharist at a private school when he noticed that a teenage student, after receiving Holy Communion, was removing the Host from his mouth. The priest intervened before the student could throw it to the ground. Following the procedure used in such cases, the priest placed the Host in a glass of water in the chapel of the parish house so that it could dissolve. When the chapel was cleaned the following Thursday, however, a parish worker found that the Host had not dissolved and noticed reddish stains which appeared as though they might be blood. A priest …കൂടുതൽ

Their influence was still corrupting just as that of Catholics who trivialized their faith. Before the Seinfeld series ended, many Americans like me came to the realization that laughing at people's misfortunes and mocking people when they are vulnerable is really not funny. This was a consistent theme in the series and is contrary to the Beatitudes. Now they have to choose genocide to continue their "success". Just like lukewarm Catholics.
Today, Vice President J.D. Vance attended a Mass in the Roman rite with his family at Old St. Mary’s Church in Cincinnati, reports Crisis Magazine editor Eric Sammons on x.com, who was present. “It was nice to see J.D. Vance and his beautiful family at Mass this morning,” Sammons wrote on X on August 23. Sammons said Vance lives nearby and that his family attends several Cincinnati-area parishes when in town. He added that this was Vance’s first visit to Old St. Mary’s since becoming vice president. Vance’s presence brought additional security. According to Sammons, Secret Service agents screened everyone entering the church with handheld wands and checked bags. Sammons said the screening caused only a minute or two of waiting, describing the agents as “professional, efficient, and quite friendly. He also noted that he had heard Vance say his family deliberately varies which churches it attends to avoid repeatedly inconveniencing parishioners at any one parish. #newsBibrwcfcti
J.D. Vance attended a traditional Latin Mass with his family at Old St. Mary’s Church in Cincinnati on August 23. Although Vance has previously said he is not particularly devoted to the Latin Mass, he has criticized restrictions on the traditional liturgy. His attendance attracted attention because it is unusual for a sitting U.S. vice president to participate in a Mass celebrated according to the 1962 missal.

Third Letter My excellent Lord, — O great treasurer of the Holy Spirit! O new Abraham upon earth! [After these words St. Francis gives a long and severe reproach to ecclesiastics for their covetousness, indolence, and want of charity and zeal for the spiritual welfare of the people; then he says]: Let the kings and princes in Christendom be ashamed of themselves, who live without charity. God has granted them means to lead a good life, and they are bad, having their hands shut up with the accursed lock of avarice; they are stingy in good works and prodigal in doing evil; they spend more than what they have in vanities and in useless things, in order to indulge their passions, oppressing their poor subjects. O wretched, unhappy men! Do you know what vanity is? Do you understand that your people are the creatures and subjects of the Most High God? They are men like you; children of Adam like you; they have been given to you as subjects, not that you might rob and maltreat them, but in …കൂടുതൽ
"Woe to you because God Almighty will exalt a very poor man of the blood of the Emperor Constantine, son of St. Helena, and of the seed of Pepin, (i.e King Pepin of France) who shall on his breast wear the sign which you have seen at the beginning of this letter (t) (I.e. a cross). Through the power of the Most High he shall confound the tyrants, the heretics, and infidels. He will gather a grand army, and the angels shall fight for them; they shall kill all God’s enemies."
Leo XIV: "Faith Is Not Given Once and for All" At today’s Angelus, Leo XIV appeared to blur the distinction between the objective content of the Faith and its subjective appropriation: “Faith is not something given to us once and for all. Rather, we continually need to rediscover the face of Christ.” He then urged the faithful not to retreat into religious certainties, adding: “When it comes to the Christian faith, we may be content with […] what has been handed down to us.” Instead, Leo advocated “friendship with Jesus” through an “ever-new encounter”: “This may also ask us to follow unfamiliar paths and to make choices different from those we had imagined. This is true both for our personal journey and for the journey of the Church, as well as for our pastoral choices, when we may sometimes think that it is enough simply to continue doing things as we have always done them.”
Two short video quotes from today's Angelus: Leo XIV offers unusual definitions of faith, suggesting that focusing on what has been handed down to us is insufficient.
"when we may sometimes think that it is enough simply to continue doing things as we have always done them" Do not simply continue going to the Novus Ordo. Instead, attend the Tridentine Mass!

HustleBitch @HustleBitch_ JAPAN IS BANNING AMERICAN CEREALS BECAUSE THEY CAUSE CANCER — AND KIDS IN THE U.S. ARE STILL EATING THEM Japan is considering banning popular American cereals like Frosted Flakes, Rice Krispies, Honey Bunches of Oats, and snacks like Wheat Thins. Why? Because they contain BHT (Butylated Hydroxytoluene), a chemical used as a preservative and flavor enhancer that Japan considers too dangerous. While other countries are rejecting these products over cancer concerns, they’re still widely sold in American stores. If Japan doesn’t want it in their country… why are we still feeding it to our kids?
Does Leo XIV Embrace Borderless Globalism? “People always come before borders, before definitions and institutions,” said Leo XIV at the Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples in Rimini, Italy, on Saturday. “This realization stands at the center of Christianity,” he continued with more platitudes, adding: “Evil is not fought with evil. It is time to oppose the false realism that rearms minds, words, and nations with the realism of mercy.”

Revelation 21:21 indicates, albeit metaphorically, that Heaven has 'pearly gates'. I suppose he is in favor of the gates of Hell prevailing against those, as well.

The Safety Valve of the Holy Spirit: How Vatican II’s "Pastoral" Shield Preserved the Faith For sixty years, the Catholic faithful have been told to bow before a new deity: the elusive, shape-shifting "Spirit of Vatican II." We have been assured that the twenty-first ecumenical council was a rupture, a foundational reboot that dragged a reluctant, medieval Church into the glorious light of modern progressivism. The progressive wing of the Church has weaponized the Council's documents to construct a confusing, distorted Church on the ashes of the old. But their revolution possesses a fatal, architectural flaw. In their haste to remake the Church in the image of the secular world, the architects of this modern experiment forgot a fundamental rule of Catholic theology. By explicitly, repeatedly, and formally defining the Second Vatican Council as a strictly pastoral council, the Popes of the mid-twentieth century unwittingly revealed the ultimate proof of divine intervention. Book of Revelation 21,9b-14. The angel spoke to me, saying, "Come here. I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." He took me in spirit to a great, high mountain and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God. It gleamed with the splendor of God. Its radiance was like that of a precious stone, like jasper, clear as crystal. It had a massive, high wall, with twelve gates where twelve angels were stationed and on which names were inscribed, (the names) of the twelve tribes of the Israelites. There were three gates facing east, three north, three south, and three west. The wall of the city had twelve courses of stones as its foundation, on which were inscribed the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. shareyourcatholicfaith
